Sugino 75 chainline

Hi there.
I recently acquired an NJS track frame. It had a dura-ace NJS stamped 7400 bb 109mm already installed. (Which I believe is ISO from what I've read on the Internet)

So I picked up a sugino 75 crankset to go on it, since that was the 75's reccomended spindle length.

I pushed the crank into the bb spindle just by hand and measured the chainline to the center of the seat tube. I'm getting about 43.5-45mm with a digital calliper. Which worries me.

Once I torque the bolt, will it move the crank closer in? A few mm to achieve a 42mm chainline?

Or do you think I need to swap the bb with the sugino 75 bb?

Thanks.

Unless you have the power to warp the laws of mathematics and physics, a 109mm ISO spindle is a 109mm ISO spindle regardless of brand.

Stop "worrying" and install the crank arms properly. Pressing them on by hand and taking a measurement is pointless.

The crank arm will definitely move closer to bb once tightened down.

Thanks. That's all I needed to know. 😊✌️

If he did that would be great. I could use some physics warping so I can still eat tons of pasta and cake and not get a gut ; )
