Singlespeed & Fixed Gear "I still feel that variable gears are only for people over forty-five. Isn't it better to triumph by the strength of your muscles than by the artifice of a derailer? Dank Bags MIA?

I also posted this on bikepirates on livejournal but I'll post here too:

What the hell happened to the dude (cory) who runs Dank Bags? I sent him a check and it was sent back, because the person said it was in the wrong PO Box, and I've also sent him an email, it too was sent back by that damn mail demon as an unknown address. I guess I'll call tomorrow but before I do that I wanted to know if any of you knew?

rumor on the street is that someone (why do I think in Milwaukee?) bought the company from Cory. In the meantime, it's my understanding that he's not making them anymore.

When they awarded the Dank at the Mad Mad Mad Mad (mad mad mad) alleycat in DC, the DemonCats guys said it was the last bag Cory made and that the company was now non-existant. I had also had several beers by that point, though, so you may want to double check that.

Last I heard was that he was getting out of the business. I'm sure it's too late to order.

Huh, I could have sworn that I saw SuperRookie with a new custom one a week or two ago. Maybe it was one of the last ones. Thing was huge...

Did I tell you how much I love my back pack? Such a shame it's a collector's item now.

That is a shame. Im with you fixedfiend. I love my backpack. Even though I only had it a few months, I was actually considering getting a smaller bag from him sometime down the road. I guess Im one of the last few to get one made before the end.

Well, best wishes to Cory.
