Niner RLT Frames...

Has anyone built one up as a SS? Appears this frame has a following among the gravelbike crowd.

I think I read somewhere that these frames use some new-fangled "thru-axle" design, hence the reason for the above mentioned eccentric BB. Makes sense.

Most of Niner's recent mountain bike designs use the same BB setup. This allows you to keep the chainstays at their ideal length as well as avoiding any hassle realigning the disc brakes when changing gearing or retensioning the chain.

It would be pure unadulterated dope of the highest order if they made a SS/FG/IGH RLT with belt drive compatibility. Though I think all companies should make ultra HQ single speed or fixed platforms in good steel with all the trimmings.

I wanted to build my SS MTB using a Niner frame, but I could not find a dealer within 500 miles who had built one. Then, about a year later I saw one. It was stunning and the guy loved it. However, he was on his second frame, given the first one broke.
