well when i was a kid.. kabukis were always the super cheap bikes.. and im lookin at the lugs on that thing and not impressed.. even if it is from bridgestone

That thing is good for some racks front and back and a nice retro tour of the country-side. Whatever it started as it's aged well from what can be seen in the photos. Finding a nearly never used bike is fun for what it is and I guess for some what it could be. But me I'd leave that thing alone if I paid $45 bucks for it. Maybe spend a few bucks and get some new old tires. Put on some long tube socks, a pair of shorts like from when shorts were short and an "OP" shirt and cruise around the neighbourhood pretending I was 10 again....actually I wouldn't but it would be fun.
