First off, thanks to everyone who helped out:
- Karmical
- Terror_in_pink
- BlastRadius
- Dolface
- The_Loin
- Beppe
- Darian
- Chuck
Had a pretty good turnout, 28 people in all, but one guy got a flat at the start and couldn't race.
In the end, Harryhood ended up taking first. Actually, he tied with Koshi, but first place was determined by a trackstand competition, and Harryhood ended up taking home $145. Koshi took second, and a nice red Chrome Metropolis. Third went to 46x17 (Clayton) who got a lovelife bag for his girl. Fourth was a tie between Tightpants and Andy, can't remember what they took. Fifth was a tie between Ostro (Kamil), who got took the IRO crankset and Dolface (Galen), who took the Shadow Conspiracy chain.
Everyone got something. Dokushoka, who tied with Cory for DFL, got a Phil Wood T-shirt and a hamburger bell.
I have pictures too.

well done and congrats to Judah and everyone else who put it on! Sounds great.
I wish I could have participated.
where was the after party? I dont recognize that bar.
and FYI - Valencia, Spain is completely flat and ideal for fixies. Sadly, mine is the only one here. I may be mistaken, but in 2 and a half weeks and riding all over the city, I haven't seen another track back.
also, anyone know is a Moishe (Mo) participated in the race? He's Indian and rides a red KHS aero track (slanted top tube).

Judah put together a fun course with alot of fun challenges. Great job organizing and great prizes.
I'll be putting the cranks I won on my new project.
Raleigh Record, got this for free (and a univega gran tursimo) when my landlord cleaned out the parking garage. Sweet
Thanks again Judah!

Great race! Sorry I couldn't stay longer at the afterparty. Can't wait for Sillygirl's Summer Series.

I would post a pic of a used manifest/bonus sheet, but Tightpants has them all, and I have a feeling that they got thrown away.
Checkpoints were:
Mandatory first - Alamo Square @ Pierce
then I would have gone:
- Peace Pagoda @ Japantown
- Dutch Windmill in GG park @ the ocean
- 26th and Ortega
- 21st and Chatanooga
- 39 Isis
- Gallagher and Clemetina
Then I would have gotten my bonus points by going to:
- Parking garage (for a ticket) @ 4th and harrison (whole foods) on the way to:
- Indian/Pakistani on 3rd between Harrison and Bryant (for a menu)
- Caltrain @ 4th and king (for a caltrain pamphlet)
- Trader Joe's @ 8th and Brannan (for fearless flyer)
- Back up the zigzag, stopping along the way at one of the liquor stores (for a sixer of cans and a sixer of bottles)
- searched for a big rock while heading for:
The end at Buena Vista park on Haight and Buena Vista West/Central
Koshi finished with a non-adjusted time of 1:54, but we made him go get beer and fruit so that he could get some bonuses. It took him ~ 6minutes to get those things, which gave him a 11 minute bonus. He would've beaten Dennis if he'd only gotten a six pack of bottles, instead of, or as well as, a sixer of cans.

Anyone have any info on the podcast of this race that John was doing? Anyone have a link to his site or similar?
There was also someone writing about the race for a newspaper/zine in Japan. Would be great to see this when its done.
