Sram Omnium seating question

I know that sram omnium are supposed to deliver a 42 mm chainline on a 68 mm bottom bracket. My problem seems to be the none drive side cup seems to prevent the drive side crank from fully seating unless i use a spacer. If i use no spacer the chainline is more like 47 mm, and i can see appx 5mm of the spindle on the drive side. Yes i did use a torque wrench to properly torque the bolt too. My question for other omnium owners is can you see any of the spindle on the drive side?

Omniums are literally the easiest crankset in the world to install, yet so many people somehow manage to **** it up.

You're not inserting the spindle all the way before installing the NDS arm. Lightly grease the spindle and make sure it is seated properly. You may need to tap it in with a rubber mallet because it sounds like you have salad hands.

Salad fingers are better than ham fists.
