Looking for bullhorns/TT bars!
 

Hey, I'm in the market for a nice bullhorn/time trial handlebar. I've searched and searched for online dealers, but no luck.


Where do you all get those badass handlebars I'm seeing in the pictures?


Right now I'm riding some hacksawed drops. they are ok i guess.

chucksbikes.com has some closeout bullhorns for around $15.
bussinesscycles.com has the nice nitto ones for more.
nashbar.com has generic bullhorns for about $25.
If you're in Canada, bikeroom.ca has nitto tt bullhorns.

Are you looking for horns with drops or with no drops? The ones with no drops are generally a lot cheaper.

you can't find time trial bars? they are everywhere....... check ebay

i think performance bike has really cheap ones. either that or nashbar (as mentioned before)

For my last set I flipped my drop bars around and cut them to length.
I added an inline brake lever on the left bar end. It works and looks great.

Mavic bullhorns are the bee's knees. Best bullhorns out there in my opinion, for positions and looks (that could be personal opinion though, as some of the hand positions it gives are crazy, and the colour matches everything on my bike) but they are so damn rare that I get to brag about them whenever possible. I got them slightly used off ebay for 32USD. The syntace and cinelli bullhorn bars are comparible in shape, and I'd reccomend those too, although I have not used them personally.

Pretty crank on that godbike, Shiznaz...

speaking of horns, can anyone tell me who makes bars with this drop/shape? are these nitto?

actually, now that i see the prices of these things maybe i'll just stick with my chopped/flipped bars. they aren't so bad.

So I likes the looks of the Cinelli Tempo bullhorns, but not the 26.4 clamp diameter. What's a fella to do?

let me warn about the nashbar ones-- the 90 degree bend in 'em is actually folded in. I haven't had problems yet, but it does make them quite a bit weaker, and it makes 'em look really crappy.

i second the idea that nittos rock. we stock 'em in the shop. mad strong, pretty, etc.

Those are the bee's knees, but the 31.7 clamp diameter is poo.
