Carbon fork help!
 

Does anyone have any suggestions on a carbon fork under 200???

what kinda tire clearance can ya get on that?

Just decided to check mine out of curiosity. It just barely fits a 28c Pasela.

I will prob go for that one! do you think its worth looking for it used or just get new?

Used carbon is generally a poor idea unless you really know what the in depth history of that fork is. I wouldn't want to buy someone's used carbon because I don't know what has happened to it and I cannot guarantee it is safe to ride on.

Buy a new one, support your local shop or at least Scrodzy who runs a small shop which for some may not be local but specializes in those fixed gear and single speed bikes the kids are all talking about these days.

After several years of riding, I recently pitched my Nashbar 1-inch threaded carbon fork, replacing it with the original fork on my '85 Fuji single-speed. I haven't noticed a difference other than rake (now less steep). I recall paying about $125 for that fork. Worked well, I guess.
