Singlespeed & Fixed Gear "I still feel that variable gears are only for people over forty-five. Isn't it better to triumph by the strength of your muscles than by the artifice of a derailer? Bike recommendation

Hey guys. I've recently moved to Seattle and I sold my bike while moving so I'm looking for a new fixie bike. Anybody got some suggestions? I want an Aluminium frame that has a little pursuit geometry cuz my last bike was steel and I want some diversity in my ride. I've been looking at Throne and Aventon but I don't know much about fixies in the states. Just make sure the bike doesn't go over $550 (I'm poor). Thanks in advance.

Welcome to Washington! I live a hundred miles north of Seattle. You're crazy for riding fixed gear in such a hilly city but it seems like lots of people are doing it lol. The only aluminum bikes with pursuit geometry I can think of would break your budget with just the frame set. Looked up that Aventon and it looks like a decent bike

An Aventon would probably fit the bill. Their frames are not outstanding quality, but not bad. To stay within your budget, they're probably your best bet (in aluminum).
