Seat bag recommendations
 

I'm sick of getting all sweaty carrying a messenger bag in NYC humidity but my Steamroller doesn't have braze ons for a rear rack and I'm not a fan of front racks. Any suggestions for a seat bag with shoulder strap loops for carrying off the bike?

Just needs to be big enough for a wallet, keys, glasses, a chain whip and ideally a long sleeve tee for over-air-conditioned destinations (pretty much everywhere in NYC).

You can get a rear rack that uses the seat post rather than the eyelets or you can use the p clamps and use a normal rear rack me thinks.

I did the rear rack and p-clamp thing for a bit. Ended up rubbing the paint off the seat stays (though probably cause I did a crap job installing them). I don't need to rock something as big as a pannier for as little as I'm carrying on the daily.

Anybody have experience w Carradice saddle bags?

You carry a chain whip with you?

Most people rock this as a handlebar bag (where I'd put it), but could work in the back too.
