Yeah! The ole Specialized Armadillos held up to their first thorn attack
 

Only had my Armadillos for a little while, now, and they held up to a thorn attack today. Pulled one of those suckers out of my front tire, but it looks like it only made it through the rubber tread area, but was stopped by the Armadillo liner directly beneath the tread area. Yeah! I'm likin' the Armadillos a lot. :D

with maybe one or two exceptions, the only times i've ever flatted armadillos in about 5 years of riding them have been instances where i've had to remove things like roofing nails from the tire.

i've pulled so many shards of metal out of armadillos that would flat the michelin pro race tires on my road bike in a second.
