yeah - pink shirt, pink grips & pink deep v's. Sorry I was sorta anti-social, I wasn't really in a talking mood. The stupid kids on the track were really pissing me off.

And no, I didn't mean to coordinate my clothing with my bike. I'm waiting to find a badass jersey.

It was funny - I overhead someone talking about how all that pink on a girls bike would be too "girlie" but it works for a bike belonging to a dude =)

Sweet bike??? are you kidding??? Didn't you see [165]'s Gan Well? I was forced to sit down for a few minutes to avoid embarassment when I laid eyes on that beaut!

I do love my bike though, thanks for the compliments. But after riding Naz's Soma I'm revisiting getting a steel frame. My cannondale may end up being my winter bike...

Maybe my saddle's just not a good fit for me, but how the hell did all you guys ride for several hours without "proper" bike shorts? I can't go much more than about a half hour without it killing me/leftie + rightie...

Ooh, then you need to find a better saddle. A good saddle should feel comfortable for everyday riding. A great saddle should be comfortable forever.

I went through about 10 saddles before I found the right one (Selle Italia SLR). Saddles are very personal things. And you shouldn't skimp on that which you spend most time on.

That Gan Well was [165]'s? I think it's all coming together now. It was sort of the same color as Ross's Alpha. Kind of gold-ish.

Yeah we were talking about how maybe a girl could rock a pink bike like that, too, but only if she also wore a choker with spikes or something.

I usually only wear that on Fridays. Thank God for casual Fridays at the office!

Yeah, I've heard nothing but good things about the SLR, so I'll definitely give it a try. I actually have a Selle Italia right now, but it's the XO Trans Am something or other...it came with my Giant, and since it's mated to a nifty carbon seat tube, I've been using it on both my Giant and my IRO. But it looks like switching to an SLR would both shave off ~150 g from my bike and preserve my ability to father children - two things that I (highly) value!
