Singlespeed & Fixed Gear "I still feel that variable gears are only for people over forty-five. Isn't it better to triumph by the strength of your muscles than by the artifice of a derailer? We are getting soft...As for me, give me a fixed gear!"-- Henri Desgrange (31 January 1865 - 16 August 1940)

Like the bike! Is that fixed or singlespeed? I have gotten interested in All City lately, are all of their bikes singlespeed? The Nature boy looks pretty cool, wonder if I could put a fixed cog on it?

I am really happy with the way it came out... a beautiful color!

Thanks. All City has a few single speed bikes, including track bikes, but most of their bikes come with gears.

I love my Nature Boy and would buy another in a heart beat. Mine is currently set up as a freewheel but I have plans to put a fixed cog on it soon and one of my good friends has his NB set up fixed too.

Did you buy it as a complete or just the frame? I see the new Nature boy has disc brakes. Pretty awesome looking bike with that green paint they have.

Fixed is a funny thing. Spent almost $1500 on a road bike and its really nice with carbon fork and Shimano 105 group. The bike that gets ridden most is my 30 year old converted Schwinn fixie. Its very addictive. I see the bike now and want to ride it ha.

It's been awhile.

Currently stripping the paint down since it's super ****ty. I've been practicing on the fork before spraying the whole frame.
Kind of has a nice junkyard dog look at this moment. lol

I figured that. However this is not 'Nam and there are rules, Smokey!

I love H+Son, having two sets of wheels with their rims and a third about to be built when I finish other projects. Something about them looks nice and they perform quite well and do a cracking job for vintage bikes. Not many people are still doing Hard Anodized Grey but they are and cheers to them!

Yup. Light, comfortable, durable, and affordable. Can't really ask for much more

Very nice. The Columbus fork makes it better by a factor of 10.

Haha yeah, I'm not crazy about them in general, but I love a good build.

Thanks. Yeah, I added some rivnuts

I don't know if anyone is interested, but I crafted a cleanish light mounting setup. Gotta have a parallel stem though for it to work though. Two thin zip ties between the stem and its face, along with some industrial velcro works really well to keep it secure.
