The driveway/pavement is nice. Are the rocks set into mortar of some kind?
Bikes ain't bad either.

Well, I can't offer much, but in light of the gravel bike threads, here's my hybrid / urban / gravel / flat-bar-road / adventure / whatever bike. I'm crossing the Wisconsin River on the Merrimac Ferry. The back story is that my spouse is a runner, and so I've been riding my bike to meet her, wherever she has a run or race. It gets me up in the morning on weekends, and adds some variety to my rides. Then, depending on distances, I either ride back or throw my bike in her car and drive back. Last weekend she ran in a trail race at Devils Lake State Park, so I took a nice 35 mile ride up there. The ferry ride is a nice bonus, and it's pretty easy until the last big hill up the bluff above the river, where the state park is. I'd better not complain, my spouse ran up and down that bluff a couple times.
Despite being on roads, I only encountered about half a dozen cars between Madison and the ferry. The only traffic was the road in and out of the park, which is a popular one.
The bike is a 2016 Diamondback Haanjo Metro, which is basically a sporty looking hybrid with 1x9 gearing. I've added a swept handlebar, per my usual preference, and rear rack.

it's a mock-up of a pretty popular Salsa stem graphic design. I think it's pretty cool! I want one for my Wabi. PM me if your friend has any he'd be willing to sell

@johnnytheboy, which model is that? My wife has a Macho Man, and it's wonderful.
