How do I search for compatible wheels?

How do I search for compatible wheels? I barely know anything about bikes and tried to research wheels but still don't know what terms to search in google to shop for replacement wheels. Any help would be appreciated thanks.

Edit** Just saw that you posted a picture of a Gravity bike with Disc Brakes. I don't see a disc on the rear wheel, do you have a disc brake set up on the front??

120mm is the O.L.D. for the hub/axle assembly, the axle itself is longer that and 10mm in diameter. Just don't go searching for thru-axle track wheels because thru-axle is its own separate thing in the bicycle world.

You'll probably shave off a pound or two if you clean that thing.

I commute in nyc everyday rain, snow, or shine so that dirt accumulates very quickly. Also it deters potential thieves hopefully. I don't want to scrap the bike because I just got new brakes and crank set on it

No and no. You have track hubs, so look for those. Thru-axle is some weird new MTB/cross/gravel/maybe-road-sometimes thing. That's a road bike wheel.

No, that is a road bike wheel and is fits frames spaced at 130mm. Something like these will work for you

btw I don't have disc brakes - the bike is no longer available so that was the closet thing to it

Sure, if that's what you want. You'll need valve extenders too to be able to pump your tires, as well as new brake pads for carbon rims.

Those goofy wheels will likely work but if you are riding a cheap bike that is poorly maintained but is kept that way for "security" I wouldn't want flashy wheels, plus you will have poorer braking with carbon and will need new pads. What is wrong with your current wheels, aside from being horribly filthy? If you are having bearing issues maybe clean your wheels and have your local shop take them apart and re-grease everything and tension the spokes properly and that will save you money on new wheels and refresh your ride.

Use any standard track wheelset* that has a rear spacing of 120mm.* The chainline on all standard track wheelsets should be/is 42mm.
