Just wondering - phil lists two JIS 108 bbs. One is compact one is standard.
What is the difference between the two bbs? Is there a way to tell which is which? I thought compact had to do with the BCD.

'compact' is specifically for low-profile cranks and is available in 105 and 108mm sizes

Yes that is what the site says. If I have one of each bb in my hand how do I know which one is standard and which one is compact? What is the mechanical, visual, etc. difference?
