Good chainrings?

Just bought a kilo wt that came with 48/16 gearing. I changed the 16t to an 18t but it’s still a little too high for what I want. I think getting a 44t would get me right where I wanna be. I want something quality that’s round but don’t want to break the bank for the bling factor. Suggestions?

You need a 130mm BCD chainring. Is $85 too much for you ? This is a great quality chainring that will meet your needs:

Was hoping to stay under $40. Anything more than that and I figure it be better to just buy a 20t cog and a new chain if mine is too short.

Well, if you don’t mind going with a silver 3/32” wide chainring, this one is very good quality for under $40:
