maybe a stupid question, but what's the correct way to route a toe strap through these things?

they've got two spaces seemingly designed to have a strap pass through - one on the outer edge, and one on the bottom.

i've got the strap threaded through the hole on the outside edge, but it seems a bit awkward to pass it through the hole on the bottom part of the pedal.

how do you do it?

I have encountered similar difficulty with Sylvan pedals and Toshi straps. I was thinking of lining the spaces with a little soap.

not quite what i mean - i know what you're talking about with the sylvan pedals - it's physically difficult to get the straps through the holes on the undersides.

the design of these pedals is different, though. i'm unclear as how to actually route the strap.

here's a shot of the pedal - i'm unclear on what to do with the the tab on the bottom of the pedal which really sits parallel with the body of the pedal.

It is like we twist the straps when we put the through most pedals. to reduce them from loosing and control slack.

absntr. are you sure? that tab looks an awful lot like the strap is meant to be threaded through it, and it seems like that would accomplish the same thing as the twist.

Not sure - I've seen it done on two different set ups. I'm not surprised if that's NOT the right way so take my "advice" with a grain of salt. Ceya's and your thoughts sound right. I'm off to tell my friend...
