Worst Impulse Ever
 

anyone here ever thought of shoving your knee under the top tube to stop the big wheels from rolling?

thought about knees under handlebars once. did it once. once.

ouch...thinking about it makes me cringe

Why would you want to stop? Swerve. Or get a brake. One of the two...

Bad impulses are the reason why I don't have a license. I found myself wondering what it would feel like if I went into the oncoming traffic lane (each going 50mph).

Bad impulses, are ......... bad. And that one sounds like you're just asking for a dislocation or at least ruining your knees.

I'm thinking about slamming the transmission into reverse in my rent-a-car while going 60 mph this coming weekend.

I used to do it on my 77 chevy, wouldn't shift until speed got below 5mph or so.

good idea in theory, but modern cars have a shift gate that won't let you do that. neutral drops are still possible though.
