Singlespeed & Fixed Gear "I still feel that variable gears are only for people over forty-five. Isn't it better to triumph by the strength of your muscles than by the artifice of a derailer? We are getting soft...As for me, give me a fixed gear!"-- Henri Desgrange (31 January 1865 - 16 August 1940)

You got the same bike I rode!

Banking is steep! Feels like NASCAR!

You are the 3rd foreigner to ride in the program. Me and Fit24hrs are the first two to ride.

I thought there were pretty strict rules about bikes in keirin racing, like steel w/ 32 spoke wheels. whats that guy doing w/ a disc and CF? perhaps I'm just misinformed.

Don,
I raced and ridden all over the country for 10 yrs. I even rode the wooden track for the good will games in 1997. I rode Encino,Dominguez Hills, and Etc. So YES to your answer, It is steep for a 400 meter track. When I go back I will take pics to show you steepness of the track.

No this is also training for people who are getting into racing or High school kids. It is everybody invited kind of thing. It is run by a famous Japanese road racer from the 60's who raced the 1964 Olympics.

Tomity may correct me later I am wrong on the years.

36 hole hubs is for keirin racing not 32 hole hubs!
