Frame builders/modifiers in SoCal (san diego)

So,
I've googled and to no avail. Well, little avail. I can't find an email address for Holand cycles, and I've heard they ONLY do TI frame work.

The back ground is I'm tired of playing with vert drop outs on my old road frame. It's my daily bike and it's a PITA to get the tire even, chain tension right, etc. So, I'm kind of willing to put some cash down to have the drop outs replaced. But, I don't want to spend an arm and a leg, and I don't need it painted. To make things even harder, I'm not willing to have the bike lost and gone for weeks on end. (I'd have to ride geared.. or resurect my back up frame and the Thylacine isn't close to being done.) Now I could cludge it, cut them off and buy some drop outs AND have some local yocal weld them up. But, well, I'm a little nervous about that.

Anyone have any links, email addys and ideas on cost? I'd appreciate any ideas, help, etc...

I could buy a cheap track frame ~ even an IRO for a reasonable cost, but I have developed a special love for the Bianchi frame and would like to hold on to it if possible.

I know that people like and have had mods done by Mikkelsen in SF.

Not sure about SD but maybe you can drive up north?

Call Bill Ron of Bill Ron Bikes. I'm sure he could at the very least point you in the right direction.

I'll try to give him a call. I can't seem to find the frame builders email list any longer...

I know a few people who have Russ Denny bikes and are pretty happy with them.

He's in Temecula.

just so you know bill ron's shop is now by appointment only, so don't do like me and drive 45 minutes to drop by. i think he had a new baby in the family and it must be taking up some time. congrats bill!
just call first!

Thanks, I'm stuck with emailing now. There are no phone lines. How antiquated is that?
