Singlespeed & Fixed Gear "I still feel that variable gears are only for people over forty-five. Isn't it better to triumph by the strength of your muscles than by the artifice of a derailer? We are getting soft...As for me, give me a fixed gear!"-- Henri Desgrange (31 January 1865 - 16 August 1940)

My pompino nicked in London :-(

Please forgive me if this is off-topic but I'm not sure where to post this...

My 'il pompino' was nicked from the junction between Oxford Street and Soho Street this morning, between 9 and 12. The thieves cut the lock clean through and the thieves were kind enough to leave the severed lock and my helmet neatly on another bike. I've reported it to the police but I suspect someone else is more likely to hear about a singlespeed road bike for sale (it's actually a cyclocross for those that haven't seen one), especially in the London area please let me know by posting to this forum. I'm cautious about leaving my contact details in plain site on a forum...

The bike is fairly easy to recognise (assuming they don't repaint it) as it has dark blue metallic flecks where I touched up the scratches with the only paint I had to hand... The bike is otherwise the standard light blue.
