Two questions :

1) What kind of bag is that? Ortlieb? Looks pretty sweet for a two strap system.
2) Any chance of renting him out across state lines? I think I need some help with the local ladies...

Man, I wish my nut-case dog would stand for that. Of course she's a good sized 50 lb dog. Not only would it be hard for her to comfortably fit, but it wouldn't be a lot of fun for this guy right here hauling her around.

RELoad, you are correct. the bike is a grandis - a nice old 80s track frame. it was meant to go fast, but i probably topped out at about 12 miles an hour... i was a little paranoid about taking a spill with the little guy.

yeah, 50 pounds would be a little much. this one's only around 20-25, and after 5 miles or so, it gets a little uncomfortable with the shifting around and all. but by all accounts, he was loving it! gotta start 'em early.

i think we're gonna get one of those nashbar trailers for him. i'm allowed to bring him to work, so i definitely need a long-term solution.

That is rediculously cute. You could put out some propaganda with these pictures to improve the public image of messengers.

we went roundtrip, so we caught them on the way down too. but i took it really slow, and let my legs do the shock absorption. i'm sure i was far more nervous than he was.

That is awesome.

When the girl got her boxer, he couldn't quite take walking too much so we ended up carrying him in her Chrome bag (citizen). I always had the idea of putting him in my bag. He won't fit now since he's a good 50lbs.

The photos bring a smile...

if you come and pick him up, i say go for it. might be quicker to go to your local shelter and walk some pups, though. they usually appreciate it.
