Dual coaster brake sprocket fit?
https://www.ebay.com/vod/FetchOrderDetails?itemId=264523065359&transactionId=2503554382016
I picked up this dual coaster brake sprocket 'cause i thought it was interesting (and fairly cheap), but it turns out it's too thick to put on the hub and get the retaining clip back on.
I just tried it on a random hub I had handy until I dig the bike I want to use it on out of its spot, so maybe I'll luck out and something about it will be different enough to make it fit. But if not, has anyone seen one of these and/or have any idea what might be needed to use it? Thanks.

Just googling the terms, all I pull up is hubs intended for tricycle use. A picture or better description would help.
It sounds like you have two sprockets next to each other on the same side of a hub, and I've never read of that before. And even looking at "Completed Transactions" on ebay doesn't pull anything like that, at least on the first page or two.

another try from my phone. I don't have a home computer right now and have given up on photobucket anyway.

Then I don't know. I was at the library and thought I fixed it. I could click on it there, and can now back on my phone.
but essentially, it's like a two sprocket cluster, a 16 and 19, but the center has the three nibs(?) that would slide onto a coaster brake hub. But its a little thicker than a normal single sprocket, just enough that i can't get the retaining ring back on.
but I guess I'll take it by the bike shop. Maybe I'm missing something.

Log onto Ebay, do a search for 264523065359 and set search terms to include "completed listings" and that finally pulled it up.
Not that it helps me any, though. I can see how such a thing might be used, but it would be a major hassle to switch from one speed to the other on older bikes.
I would guess that it was made to work with a specific hub and/or frame.
Not so sure it even went on a coaster brake hub, could have been on some other type of hub.
Possibly ask in the "Vintage" bike subforum.
"Vintage 2 speed Bicycle coaster brake cog set ..I have no idea what or where this came from..says made in England on the back side the gear ratio is..16/19...We are currently going through a large inventory of old bicycle parts and accessories..please check back and see our other items, most of these items are NOS with normal 50 year shop wear etc"

but it's not a bike i ride regularly, so as long as i don't misplace the wheel (entirely possible if you haven't guessed that by now), i'll just set it aside until i can find the sprocket to try it.
no, not a drinker or illegal drug user. i'm just that absentminded.

i don't know. in this little personal comedy of errors i've misplaced the sprocket. i got the bike i'm thinking to use it on out and took the wheel off. i'm kind of optimistic because the normal single sprocket had some play behind the retaining ring. but now i can't remember where i set the sprocket.

BTW, what do you have against drinkers and users of other substances?

If you are attempting to install that on a Shimano coaster brake hub, it aint gonna happen. Even a semi thick powder coating on a Shimano sprocket will prevent the ring from seating.
