New training technique

Went out on a ride today with two friends. We got about seven miles out of town and my friend passed out... dehydrated and overheated, we are guessing (he is okay now). So we got him responsive and a kind man in a jeep happened to drive down this back road. He offered to take him into town for us. So I was stuck with three bikes and two people. I did the only logical thing... I put my bike on my back, and I road his. I learned that his double strap clips are really nice, and it's hard to go down giant hills with a bike and a bag on your back. Took a few pictures with my phone (yeah they suck, sorry) to remember the randomness of this ride.

Yeah, you can tell I live in Illinois from the pictures.

Yup, you a champ!

Was that actually more comfortable or easier than pulling it along side as you road?

It wasn't too bad, went 7-10 miles with out having to stop. I just shifted it around now and then.

Wow! And I felt tough for carrying some new rims around my shoulders while riding. Guess you showed me. Nice pics.

Man, and here I thought I was all cool lashing my front wheel to my bag and riding to the LBS yesterday. :p

If you rode a wheelie all the way to the bike shop, you are cool. Don't worry.
