rigid or suspension
I'm finally going to single my 02 K2 3.0. The question is should i keep the suspension fork on there so that I am not going to completely beat myself up while mountain biking (which is what I am mostly going to use it for, aside from short jaunts)? I know there would be significant weight savings going rigid cause of the cheap judy tt that is on there now, but I am more concerned with comfort and pedaling power being sapped. let me hear your 5 cents worth.

Ride the sus fork til it ya wear it out. I got one of each. I have a rigid fork waiting til the marz goes out. As for beating yourself up, you could try a Carbon Fiber bar. I just stuck a fatter tire up front.

get a nice rigid fork, a nice fat tire ...and throw the judy tt away. i had two of those things and they were crap.
the other option would be to save up for a nice light suspension fork.

i though about he nice sus fork, but figured the bike itself isn't worth that much of anything. the ss will tide me over until next year when I will be shopping for something else if the wife approves. thanks for the input.
