Kappstein cogs?
Anyone running these? My local track bike shop has them on offer but I haven't heard a lot about them. If anyone has experience, I'd like to know how they compare to EAI or Dura Ace in terms of smoothness, noise, longevity, and quality.

Thanks for the link. I'm thinking more their Standard cogs, which are 1/8".

I will keep my EAI Gold Medal for now. It is smooth and quiet and I have yet to have issues with that or any other 1/8 chain, cog or chainring.

Kappstein make the cog/chainring for Olympic level so the quality is no doubt very high standard. Its also german made.
If you can buy it local without to dealing with shipping costs. I would get one. |
Ok, yeah. I think I will give it a shot. Not too many track cogs being sold in stores locally here (Vancouver, BC) and Kappstein is one of them. If you go to their website, their machine shop looks downright futuristic.
