No idea on the builder but the overall workmanship is very good. The thinned lugs and clean shorelines are representative of someone with a high level of skill. The cutout in the bottom bracket seems to be a perfect match for the Columbus Dove, so I have to presume it is of their manufacture.

I don't know but I like it. The Bird is the word but I am super curious with the Reynolds 531 sticker. I wonder if it is a mix or some builder having a larf or something?

Sorry I was lazy and didn't post pics. Almost done. Overhauled headset. New BB. Repurposed crankset. Still need to reglue tubs, and see if I like them enough to invest in some new/better quality. With the amount I have in my stable, that is not an immediate concern not priority. Literally have 4 more bikes to rehab/overhaul/build. **** gets expensive quick.

Also looking for a brake option, and saddle choice. Any ideas for saddle? Something Italian preferably, bit not too modern but not too dated? Oh, and pedals/toe clips likely. Gold or silver chain? Thinking gold!

I personally would go for a Turbo saddle in black, with black bar tape and gold chain. As for the brake I think you'll have to go with one of those Keirin brakes that bolt on to the fork leg.

does it have an italian ISO thread BB?

ISO BB, surprisingly. Thought it could be Italian based on the dove cutout.

Not done. Needs tubulars, and a different front brake option. Not thrilled at the expense, but oh well. Want to get it done for summer so I can get some miles in on it. Also have some other projects simmering as well.

Yessir! Was trying to get a feel, then I felt like a "flat spot" sensation about a mile in. That's when I noticed the separation of the tubular. Haven't given it "the beans" yet, unfortunately.

Willing to accept any tan wall tubular donations though!

Will update when I get tubs.
