120mm rear spacing hub on a smart trainer?

hello all.

I have a Mercier Kilo WT that I want to be able to put on an indoor trainer that I own. the trainer is a Tacx Smart Flow:

the formula hub on my rear wheel has a 10mm axle, and is definitely not at least 135mm long to fit the trainer. Garmin sells this adapter on their website thatís apparently suitable for hubs with a 135mm x 10mm skewer:

So question is, can I throw this axle in my formula hub, and will it be long enough to fit in the trainer? has anyone else rigged their hubs to fit a Tacx Smart Flow trainer?

TIA!
