Front brake for a non-drilled fork

I'm looking at a really sexy old Paramount track bike on eBay, and I see that the fork hasn't ever been drilled for a front brake. If I got something like this, I'd be loathe to make any physical alterations (like drilling), but...I'd probably want to ride it around town, and I don't think I'm ready to go brakeless.

Does anyone know of brakes or alternate methods of attaching brakes that could make this work?

i just checked out the bike on ebay.
get a chrome straight blade fork from Bike Works NYC: http://www.bikecult.com/works/parts/FKgenSB.html

It'd look amazing on that bike.
I just bought one from a guy on here and it's a nice fork for not too much money.

seriously, if you drilled that fork, a bunch of angry old track racers would beat you with olympic medals.

Nice. Great recommendation.

Ha, I doubt I could find anyone in Chicago who'd be willing to have that blood on their hands.

This bike's all I've been talking about for the past week or so...I guess we'll know tomorrow whether it was meant to be or not.
