I got the thing and figured people should be able to see the thing up close instead of the lousy pics already on the web. When I pulled mine out of the bag, it had some scratches on it as if it had been used. I'm sure it wasn't though. Nice frame all in all. I'm glad I got it, I can decorate it and call it whatever I want, hence no decals. So I'll post more when I get it completed.

I understand. A unicrown-style (this is actually lugged with rounded shoulders) fork should have a tighter profile. With such a broad form it really begs to have a flat crown.
Plus the tapering on the blades doesn't look right.

Lugged full sloping crown w/ too much clearance on those fat fork blades = vomit. Especially when the rest of the bike is devoid of lugs.

Now I really, *really* want one of these even more. I was thinking that I might replace the fork with a Spicer Ti fork when I do.
Is that a lens hood on the floor?

The fork looks like my chrome bikeworks fork but powdercoated.

jealous.
here's mine — been waiting for wheels for almost a month now. don't ever order from superspokes. I have a feeling when I finally get the kit the spokes aren't going to be the lenght I asked for (radial front).
and, yes — those are brake levers on pista drops. sorry if that's offensive.

These frames are easier to get instead of online shops such as businesscycles.com Call EAI and ask them which shops in your area buy stuff from them. I gurantee there are quite a few atleast the track bike shops. There were three or four in Seattle. I paid 550 just like everyone else. After tax, 600. I don't mind the fork at all. If I replaced it someday, it would be a Wound Up. The welds seem sorta amateur in spots. Sloppy and uneven. that's the only thing I am a little bummed about. The paint works just fine for me but I have a feeeling I will for fun, re-paint the thing to my preference.
