Fixed ride tonight in SF

Fixed ride tonight in SF. Meet at Stevenson Street (that's between Mission & Valencia just off 14th) and we'll ride to Ocean beach through the park or something like that depending on how many bike lights people can bring.

We start at 8pm unless times change (check for follow-up postings).

It'll be a pretty mellow ride but expect some sprinting.

More to come,
-dennis

Sorry, too early for me. I would like to do some riding around, and the park is fun after dark.
I'll probably be out later if you guys are still around...

You still rollin' the Serotta?

Yeah—its got some updates. Maybe we will roll later—I have some work to do after work (man, that sounds so wrong.) Keep checking, I'm gonna be updating the ride.

Yeah Justin, I am. Come on down after I figure out what time we get our fix on. Work seems so hard right now—I'm dyin' 'ere.

Okay, so it seems like around 9PM. I'm thinking about grabbing a tallboy for the end of the 1st leg before leaving.

So, the ride will be starting at 9PM tonight at the above location (see the beginning of this thread). We'll be there a bit ealrier to **** around and plan the route a bit while leaving a bit of spontaneity (SP?).

Any questions? Good, let's ride.

sorry i had to take off, for so many days i have needed to spend some wrench time with my bike, but have just rode instead.

the funny thing was that i hand tightened my bb and jammed my knife into my cranks to tighten them up... you could still hear a loud metal clackty sound, that was when i called judah.

i made it down market with every cyclist and their mother trying their hardest to catch and pass me, as i limped my way back over to the east bay.

tightened everthing up, picked a lot of glass out embedded in my tires, including a rather large piece in my skid patch, that would of caused a flat, so in the end next time i will look my bike over before i ride..

Thanks for coming out anyway, too bad you had mechanical issues. We ended up having a nice leisurely ride out to the windmill, then headed to Yancies and drank for a while...

Yah sucks about the mechanical problems man.

Nice ride though. A wake up call about how out of shape I am. It was cool to meet you guys.

yeh i could live with the mech problems, but this was neglect plain and simple, heck one of my spokes came off at work today, and when i checked several more were loose, it would of been real interesting had i been heading downhill and had to emergency stop.

Dude, don't worry about it, do the morning ride with us a few times and I guarantee you'll be faster. You should have come to yancies, we had a good time...
