if this november chicago thing is happening i would happily host a contingent of people at my place. i live alone with a cat, a nearly endless supply of beer, fruit, 'some' bike stuff, a lot of pens, good water pressure, one plant that hasn't died yet, a few spiders ...

damn, didn't even make the progre-ss list. oh, well, i'm happy to have met the people i've rode with around here so far. if i had to choose, though, i'd pick raindon to lead me on an epic ride through the NW, and would also like to have the whole chicago crew take me on a tour of their hood. maybe i'll meet up with ken cox someday and learn some life lessons from him as well.

Wait a min - isn't yeast (an animal, if a basic one) killed in creating beer? Are vegans allowed to drink beer? I know whiskey over ice cream is already out for them, but I think that's because of the dairy in the ice cream...

on another note....november? in chicago? clearly, we have a significant number of people who've never lived through a midwestern winter. no DAMN way i'd go back to illinois in either the midst of winter or summer...not that i was invited or anything...

?? november is not winter. it's still actually nice, cool crisp days. hell begins in january. my life takes a nose dive around then, dark at 4pm light at 7am. it sucks. winter sucks. someone steal me and take me somewhere idyllic.
