Hey flatlanders in the IL/WI area

Talk of heading out to Kenosha came up last weekend and I wanted to get a few ideas on dates and the like and make ths happen.
Proposed:
Oct 1 (Last day of Collegiate Nat'ls @ ERV)
Oct 15
*(No Oct 22 - TRACK WARS going down in Chi @ 5pm)

This, of course, would need to include a trip to a cheese/porno emporeum on the way there...and perhaps back too.
We could swing this any time of day, but the earlier the better.

How would we get there? My jeep is on it's last legs.
It might explode if I tried to take it outside Illinois.
Metra?

Okay - the 15th it is.

I can haul 1 of you jokers from the Northbrook velo metra stop (as in meet you there and head north) if needed.

I like the miss-n-out and chariot heats - maybe something new? Perhaps...we actually finish with a stand session? And this time, money down! I'll bring the Chivas bag.

my truck can hold five people, if two don't mind being in jumpseats, and we could get the bikes in the bed. i may invest in a rack so they can stand upright back there.

I think that's a different place. The guy that runs that shop was convinced
he could sell me a six foot bong. What do I look like, Tommy Chong?

Put me down for probably--and I could take one other, with the proviso that we'd have to stack our bikes in the back of my car (no bike rack).

If my plans to go camping this weekend fall thru, I'll be there. I should visit my grandma anyway.

City Folks, how are we getting there? Are we meeting somewhere in the morning,
or just going straight there? Oytie, can I still hitch a ride with you?

Heh - I think everyone and their mom asked Oytie for a ride. You can duke it out with Dave.

I believe Tristan, Carlos and I will be taking the train out.

I have room for one (monkey has dibs on co-pilot until he confirms other transportation)
If anyone wants to meet up at Northbrook and grab a ride with me, now's your chance.

one other thing: who's up for booze Saturday night? Club Foot? Innertown? Village Tap? Underbar?

That's nothing new; everybody's mom is always asking me for a ride. I'll take someone, doesn't matter who.

Weather this weekend looks good. https://www.weather.com/activities/ho...hr_topnav_home
