One more reason to ride that bike

scary. or it could just be a vast right-wing conspiracy to keep us in iraq. hard to know what to think these days. at least it evens the odds re: the dangers of being hurt on a bike. |
mmmmmmmmmmmm Skittles. what color is the threat this week?
|
If I ran a bike shop, I'd be making flyers that say "Terrorist threat got you down? Buy a bike!"
OR "Outrageous gas prices got you down? Buy a bike!" I'd hand 'em out everywhere. I'd make a fortune. |

I will admit I found it slightly suspicious that this news broke the same day as Bush gave a "we're all threatened" and "stay the course" speech in defense of torturing prisoners... But hey, won't we all look like paranoid loonies if they DO blow up the subways? Man, will MY face be red!

and what the f*uck does the honorable profession of pharmacy have to do with anything? really. cant we keep the proles in line with porn and cheap beer? shouldn't that be enough? |
They're just testing us

I loved the statement the mayor's campaign spokesman put out this morning:
"I know it looked like we were trying to distract you from the coverage about Mike refusing to debate in Harlem, but we weren't. Honest. It's just an unfortunate coincidence." |
sounds like George Orwell's 1984 to me.... with all its doublespeak and big brother-ness. Just wait till the storm troopers bust in on you for reading and having chocolate. Glad i live in Canada

The best idea would be to open a bike store right across the street from a gas station.
|
Eww, politics!

There isn't a picture of a bike so far. Why is this thread here?

My son was badly burned in a campfire. He needed expert care and he got it at the Shriner's Hospital in Cincinnati. Looking for a good cause to support? This is it http://www.shrinershq.org/
Exactly why hospital care should not be paid for by donation. One of my nephews also passed out in a campfire and healthcare covered his repairs , but could not cure his stupidity. He died two years later driving drunk into a lake. Although they could cure his ills, they could not cure his stupidity. |

Presumably, they helped his family, and therefore he's objecting to the treatment of stupid people? Hell if I can make out what he's on about... they're a heck of a good organization! |
whenever I see people scratching their heads regarding (actually typoed that as "******ing" :P) American politics I wind up reading some Get Your War On
