If I ran a bike shop, I'd be making flyers that say "Terrorist threat got you down? Buy a bike!"

OR "Outrageous gas prices got you down? Buy a bike!"

there is a bike shop downtown here whos sign always reads "gas is $1.00 a litre...Ride A Bike!" or somthing like that. I'm pretty sure they even change the price every day or two so that it stays current :)

I will admit I found it slightly suspicious that this news broke the same day as Bush gave a "we're all threatened" and "stay the course" speech in defense of torturing prisoners... But hey, won't we all look like paranoid loonies if they DO blow up the subways? Man, will MY face be red!

whatever. some schmuck got pulled in by some poor 18 year-old farm boys stuck in eye-rack, and in order to make them happy, made up some story about blowing up NYC. they probably though it'd get them out of the jail if they cooperated and spilled some "inside" ****. this whole terrorist thing is worse than the communist thing. its just soo ******** ********.

Exactly why hospital care should not be paid for by donation.
One of my nephews also passed out in a campfire and healthcare covered his repairs , but could not cure his stupidity. He died two years later driving drunk into a lake. Although they could cure his ills, they could not cure his stupidity.

What do you mean? The Shriner's Hospital is one of the best in the world and it is all by donation. How is it a bad thing?

Presumably, they helped his family, and therefore he's objecting to the treatment of stupid people? Hell if I can make out what he's on about... they're a heck of a good organization!
