Re: Non-Machined Colored Deep Vs

So does anyone (Yojimbo's?) have on-hand two (2) 32H non-machined electric blue Deep Vs? Velocity USA says they won't be available for another 60 days, but I'd rather build up my sherrif star hubs asap.

i'll look next time i'm there (this week, probably). I can't recall.

Uh, I think I saw a couple at Yojimbo's last time I was there. Give Marcus a call: 312-587-0878.

Called Yojimbo's this afternoon and they don't have the electric blue 32H non machined in stock. Guess I'll be waiting a couple months until the new stock is fresh off the boat.

probably doesn't help but I believe i saw some at freewhel on hayes(in SF) I cannot confirm if they were 32h or 36h though.

Ok, I have been curious, what is a Non-Machined rim and why is it better than a Machined one?

Kiecker 10-10-05 09:10 PM

If you run brakes that apply at the rim you need them machined. If you are running no brakes, coaster, or disc then either are fine. Non machined is an asethetic thing when you have a choice.
