Right side drive SS spoted

in the loading art for gta:san andreas, wtfbmx

do you think he has troubles ever? slipping, stripping, or is it just for leet grinds

zelah 10-11-05 03:42 PM

crap i mean left LEFT

travsi 10-11-05 03:43 PM

wait, you're talking about a left-side drive right?
…in that case, nope, no troubles. the hub threads for the freewheel are left-handed.

travsi 10-11-05 03:44 PM

ok, so i'm not sure of the benefits, but i've seen alot of flatland people with left-side drive. maybe its like being left or right handed...

The hub AND freewheel are threaded opposite of normal.
So, no more stripping than an ordinary freewheel (none)

The only benefit I can think of is that it's cool and different. My LBS put one together fixie style. It's beautiful. I keep thinking I might buy it.

They used a flip-flop hub and a left crankset from a Burley tandem.
