Singlespeed & Fixed Gear "I still feel that variable gears are only for people over forty-five. Isn't it better to triumph by the strength of your muscles than by the artifice of a derailer? We are getting soft...As for me, give me a fixed gear!"-- Henri Desgrange (31 January 1865 - 16 August 1940)

Rad.

Personally I was thinking about building a text version. How's that for bitter? Terrific brutal violence...choose your own adventure style.

do you think a kinkos would deny lamination on anything it deemed "inappropriate or obscene"...

...like pornography?

Holy cow. Bikes and gay porn? I'm down.

Kidding aside, this sounds like a great idea!

Quick tip: Don't print out on vellum cardstock and then laminate, unless you have an extra clear border of blank laminate around the outside edge. Vellum cardstock (like index cards) is actually two pieces of paper melded together and tends to split when it get wet or humid. I learned the hard way.

. . . You better do it before "The Wall-mart" gets to them. Okay here's what I would do: I'd make a pal at Kinko's (probably a dude) whom you think would be cool with taking on the task . . . and go for it. But just don't hand over the "material" to a conservative/ bible thumpin' looking girl and expect no problems.

any time i've done lamination, they do it on the spot, no wait.
Besides, there are other places for copy services than kinkos. 'round here there are a couple shops with students working who coudn't care less, and might even make a copy for themselves if it's really creative.

if someone wanted me to laminate porn for them, i'd wonder what kind of person is so hard up for porn they have to laminate it to make it last forever.
