I'm doing a ground up restoration & fixed conversion of my recently acquired '83ish Miyata "nine-twelve." I have a paint color chosen, and I'm thinking that a Honey/Copper saddle from Brooks will really set-off the bike. I'm kinda split between the Brooks "Team Professional" ($120) and the B17/B17 Narrow ($75 for B17)
http://www.brookssaddles.com/brooksengland.html Can you guys/gals mention the characteristics of the saddles. I'd be using the saddle for commutes in the 20 mile range and shorter. Currently, I'm using a Serfa Terazzo Select http://www.serfas.com/racing_saddles/TRCM.html on my Poprad, and am happy with narrow saddles. |
I have a B17 on my mountainbike and a B17N on my roadbike they are both great.
Here is some more info; http://www.bicycleclassics.com/saddles.html |
Thanks, I found that rather helpful. It looks like B17's have studs that run the center of the saddle? . . . I would think that would be a bad thing???

It's just three holes, you won't notice them at all. I have a B-17 on my fixie and a swift on my SS MTB, best saddles ever!!
