what should i get??

ok ok ok, i know it's been done to death, but i can't decide!! i like the iro bikes, the pista, and the rush hour. i can't decide!! i can't sleep for thinkin' 'bout 'em! what should i do?? what would you do??

teadoggg 10-27-05 08:28 AM

every single time this questioned people do two things.

a)tell you to think for youself
b)tell you to get the IRO

get the IRO

queerpunk 10-27-05 08:28 AM

get an IRO--support the community businesses, y'know? Tony is a bike guy. he's one of us. it's like buying a good bike from your friend, at a good price, plus your friend will take care of you if anything goes wrong.

besides, pistas are ugly and IROs are hott.

mattface 10-27-05 08:33 AM

Get a Soma ;)

spud 10-27-05 08:38 AM

Get a Fuji :)

Cynikal 10-27-05 09:48 AM

Go get the IRO. Help a brother out. The new angus is cool.

brunop 10-27-05 10:22 AM

is tony in staten island? i'm in nyc every weekend and if that's where they are, hell i'd just hop on the ferry and go get me the angus. yessiree, that's what i want. anyone know if you can just go direct and get one? thanks.

Rancid 10-27-05 01:01 PM

Iro

miSSionary 10-27-05 01:03 PM

Pista, get a PISTA!!

wangster 10-27-05 01:35 PM

Get an IRO. IRO moved to PA i think so I don't think you can go to SI and pick up anymore, which is what i used to do. You can't beat IRO's warranty. Should double check this, but if your frame gets destroyed for whatever reason, send it back and get a new one for 1/2 price. Again, double check on that, but I'm pretty sure thats what Tony said.

IRO IRO IRO

LoveParkRIP 10-27-05 06:03 PM

IRO. No question. Unless you need all that bling

raygunner 10-27-05 06:06 PM

Get a freakin' bus pass.

hyperRevue 10-27-05 06:08 PM

I second the Soma.
But as far as inexpensive, pre-builts - get the IRO.

Unless track geometry is a desire of yours.

I raced on the track with my IRO, so do a lot of people. Nothing wrong with a IRO on the velo. It might be slightly slack geometry but still have a high bb so you won't have to worry about pedal strike. I wouldn't worry about the track thing.

Yup my Mark V Pro bb is higher than many of my friends "true" track bbs.
I have been riding mine with the wide MKS Touring pedals for over a year now and never scraped.
It is a fantastic frame (check out the IRO warranty too).
Not the lightest out there but super tough.
Looks a lot nice in person than on the website too.
