to turn green from envy :p - I got enough of looking at your beautiful track hubs while fighting with my converted one. Here are the ones I have ordered:
7075 alu, heat treated, I can choose the number of holes. Do not ask why the high flange ones are called keirin-male (90mm flange prototype pictured, actual production version is 75mm). |
eh...
Is somebody in Poland making track high flange hubs?
i thought somebody posted about these a while back, but at that time they weren't available for sale yet. where are they from? and did you order a color?
sniff... sniff.......... oportunity?
Yes.
I did post about them back in spring. They are alu colour (even high flange ones, the colour there is PS only) but last time I have checked they can be anodised at small additional charge. They look OK on hi-res images, I will post my impressions when I get the hubs.

are these the keirin berlin hubs?

$$$? Thanks to our twin lame ducks in politics the exchange rate rose to 3.4PLN to $. Price is 130 PLN for LF F, 170 LF R, 210 HF F, 250 HF R |

these? 300 Zlotys for the low flange set? 460 for the high flange? so, $80 and $145 respectively. that's pretty cheap. this will definetly require an update int the future, |

Bumping with update:
The guy actually hand makes them, accommodates any whims regarding hole count and can do medium high flange - I ordered LF but got an offer I couldn't resisit for a MF one. The one pictured is to complement Shamal rims, so takes 16 aero (3.1mm) spokes. The manufacturer stands by his product even with such a low spoke count and semi radial lacing :-). Tests assembled before final polishing and anodising. I like how the lockring rim goes over the cog threads - using any width cog wouldn't be the problem. |
So how much would a polished low-flange 130mm rear 36-hole fixed-fixed flipflop cost me? :D
I am paying ~$50 fro mine LF, 32 hole.
Woo-hoo, that's cheap! But how does that work out if a f+r pair costs 145? :scratches head: Tell me in Zlotys...
Hey, Low Flange set is $80, Rear low flange fixed-fixed flip-flop is $50. It is High Flange set that is $145.
those hubs look really hot. post pics when you have them build into a wheel

Oh, and do you have any more info? Link to the maker? Or is it just that somebody in a machine shop makes hubs if you ask him real nice? |
