Does anyone know how many separate pictures that required?

this is SO OFF TOPIC |
the jump scenes woulod be the hardest part. get the guy to try and snp while the rider is in midair and then 'ooof' and he lands on the other guys back. eeek.

ira are you related to IRO?

I would think it was shot with video, edited to grab the crucial frames, and the "animation" was created therefrom. I did a similar thing for a website back in the dark ages before flash...
|
that's so f-in hot.
but do people reallly have that much "spare" time. our is this a marketable skill |
it's called stop animation... most commonly seen on sesame street skits and other programs. so yes it is a marketable skill.

This is obviously not a video, but a series of still shots put together into a gif file. A 10-year-old can do it in half an hour once the still shots are done. The amazing thing is how precisely they made it. I suppose the jump frames were made with the "rider" jumping across above his buddy. Maybe they filmed it with a videocamera and then picked the frame in which he is right above the other guy at the right height. A massive amount of work for a joke project, but well worth it:D |
