BostonFixed 11-16-05 02:42 PM

Does anyone know how many separate pictures that required?

LóFarkas 11-16-05 03:00 PM

Wow. Best animgif ever. Thanks. 41 frames, by the way.

that is so going to be removed by the moderators. koffee! can I get a move on this!

this is SO OFF TOPIC

genericbikedude 11-16-05 03:38 PM

the jump scenes woulod be the hardest part. get the guy to try and snp while the rider is in midair and then 'ooof' and he lands on the other guys back. eeek.

steaktaco 11-16-05 08:17 PM

ira are you related to IRO?

*new*guy 11-16-05 09:27 PM

I would think it was shot with video, edited to grab the crucial frames, and the "animation" was created therefrom. I did a similar thing for a website back in the dark ages before flash...

peterbarson 11-16-05 09:34 PM

that's so f-in hot.
but
do people reallly have that much "spare" time. our is this a marketable skill

WithNail 11-16-05 09:58 PM

it's called stop animation... most commonly seen on sesame street skits and other programs. so yes it is a marketable skill.

Um, did you know it's not Santa who brings the presents at Christmas?
This is obviously not a video, but a series of still shots put together into a gif file. A 10-year-old can do it in half an hour once the still shots are done.
The amazing thing is how precisely they made it. I suppose the jump frames were made with the "rider" jumping across above his buddy. Maybe they filmed it with a videocamera and then picked the frame in which he is right above the other guy at the right height. A massive amount of work for a joke project, but well worth it:D
