We get killer ice storms in the Md/Va area, sometimes up to an inch. *****, even in GA, we get ice storms. The difference is the ice doesn't last as long as in NY. But it is fun. Does anyone make studded tires in 700x20? I doubt it.

In Minneapolis we get an "Ice Storm" that runs from December until early March. No joke, come out for the Stupor Bowl if you're liking the ice rides (it's a good time!)

Huh, I thought the Stupor Bowl was created to create at least one weekend in Feb where it gets freakishly warm... Supposedly it's really cold, but how many of the races so far have been cold? (honestly, I don't know - last year was my first, but I did wear SHORTS in Feb... I think it was close to 60)

But ice+fixed does = FUN!!! The lakes are the best, I think. I could probably even beat TeaBagg in a skid comp if I was on the lakes and he was on some torn up nasty dry asphalt...

Is it as much fun as hitting oil patches on corners? I'm f*ckin pretty.

Yeah I am sore but not pissed. Ate sh*t heading to school the day before yesterday at around 15mph on some slick stuff. Walked/rode it off but it's still pretty raw. Pint tonight?
