i used the phone because i had some questions and wanted to talk to tony because every one said he was cool.i got mine in about a week and half.

I phoned mine in and got it figured out right away. Turn around was about 3 hours because he was living in Staten Island still and I just went to pick it up and save the shipping cost.

Call in. Tony shipped my order out the same day, and I got it 2 days later. It all depends where you live.

i called in my order, but he's really good with email responses to questions, too. i got a custom wheelset in about a week, and the hubs had to go from NY to MI(to be built) to CA.

i was wondering the same thing about wheels specifically... like does he have a bunch of pre mades there or are they built once ordered?

Anyone know if the Angus is drilled for a front brake?

I havent been getting e-mail responses.. I understand there is probably something going on and they are ususally really good with them, so I'm not worrying about it.

It is my understanding that Tony gets his wheels premade in batches. They are still handmade by velocity.

I would say call him to finalize everything. Aside from the NY accent he is easy to talk to, and over the phone is the only way you can be as certain as possible that you are getting what you want.

I ordered directly from Tony over the phone, since I wanted anodized wheels. I'd recommend it since he can let you know right off the bat that something is out of stock so you can decide whether you want to wait.
