heat treated vs CroMo
I've noticed that Nitto drops are offered in both CroMo and heat-treated aluminum. What are the pros/cons of each material? At businesscycles, the heat treated aluminum bars are more expensive then their steel counterparts.

the aluminum bars are way lighter but more flexy.

despite the same sounding names, they're actually shaped differently too.
the AA versions have about a 13mm shorter reach and a 5mm deeper drop. Also, there's also a non-CrMo steel version (the plain B123) that has the same shape as the B123CrMo, but is just heavier. and cheaper. |
