Singlespeed & Fixed Gear "I still feel that variable gears are only for people over forty-five. Isn't it better to triumph by the strength of your muscles than by the artifice of a derailer? We are getting soft...As for me, give me a fixed gear!"-- Henri Desgrange (31 January 1865 - 16 August 1940)

holy jeesus it's slow.

so, how many messengers are sitting around in the office wondering when work will come up? there are only 2 riders working today for us, and we both have a whopping 8 jobs under our belts...IT'S 2:00. I wish it were busier...monday is soon enough.

no, my name isn't related to a thug murder of japan...and pardon my ignorance of such thing...

at least it's nice out. and i'm not the drinking type...but to all that are. have a fun and safe evening, and to steal a line from a better man than i "be safe and have fun, but don't be so safe as to not have fun" or something to that effect.

I'm technically dispatcher and solo rider today. I'm sitting here at a local non-profit, though, fixing their database as a side-job. Still waiting for the first call of the day (at 1 in the afternoon)...I guess I can just tell the folks here that I'm taking a coffee break if it happens.

Thug Murder is one of the coolest streetpunk bands ever to come out of japan. three lovely ladies, tough as nails... a bit shaky on the english diction, but they shred my face off. i saw them in the basement at FunRama once... amazing.
