keeping white leather saddle white

I have an old school corcor supercorsa white saddle (plastic w/ leather cover). I know it's gonna get little cracks in the saddle (it has from only one day of riding), but I'm wondering what the best way to preserve the finish is so that I can easily remove stuff like jeans ink (which is wiping off pretty easily right now).

anyone have any experience with cleaning or treating white leather saddles or leather covered saddles?...Will a shining with a little brooks proofide do anything to help me?

Yeah, yeah - your saddle... We all know it's your matching white leather belt that you're really worried about...

Sorry - don't have any help at all.

i would think a tanner would be the person to ask.

The saddle will stay perfectly blanco over time, except for the long brown racing stripe up the middle. Maybe "shout will work", you can always

shout it out................

Look for a product called Saddle soap. It comes in what looks like a large shoe polish tin. It is from the days when saddles were on horses. You use a wet rag and rub the stuff into the leather. When I bought my Volvo 850, I used this stuff on the tan leather interior. It even removed ball point pen ink marks.

You're right, Danny Tanner was one hell of a tidy dude.

armorall makes these leather cleaner/protector wipes.
they work well for cleaning and preserving leather.

most white leather "dye" is more of a pigmented coating/paint than a dye, like if you were to dye it black, brown, etc. with it rubbing on your crotch and blue jeans, it's not going to stay white for very long.

griffin makes a white leather "dye" that you can get at walgreens and ****, but that will just turn the crotch of your jeans white.

Wear only white jeans.
Not only will it prevent dark jean dye from staining your white saddle, but you'll be sexxxy.

i've got a white turbo that i can't get dirty fast enough. i don't want to put a chain on it, and i figure a dirty white saddle will make someone think twice about where the seat goes before making off with it.

This is my second time hearing about this "walk it like a hipster reference".
I am not trolling, or being obtuse, I just want to be clear.
Kids actually buy/build fixed gear bikes that can't ride them!?
I want to see pics, I've never seen this before. Seriously. That's ridiculous.

The reference I always hear is about walking your fixie through Williamsburg with your asian girlfriend.
I don't think it's a pervasive trend in the least.
