right leg rolled only. 3 rolls with most jeans... hot pink tube socks.....HOT
|
Both - I like being symmetrical. And I generally leave them up.
I've also long worn manpris, shants, cut-offs, clamdiggers, whatever you want to call them. They afford a good range of motion and are comfortable. But, whatever works. |
second those manpris. but when not rollin' highwaters, I go for the LL.
|
I roll LL cool J, pink cookies in a plastic bag... Thats awesome. Wes turned me on to Argyle socks(which I hadn't rocked since catholic school), which has allowed me even more color coordinating options.
|
If I am wearing loose legged pants (i.e. cargos), I roll both to reduce flappage. Jeans, just the right.
Agree with Jamtastic, wild socks are required :) But has anyone notice that some street kids will roll the left only...for reasons that perplex me. |
Both legs rolled. I call the 1 leg roll 'the homeless look'
No offense to the homeless people on this board. |
Definitely both. I like the symmetery. I like the feel. Also, depending on where you are, and who you look like, you're liable to get shot with one leg rolled up. I've actually been warned (in a really nice, polite way) by kids on the street when rocking Kool Thing style.
|
neither. If I wear long pants I just let em flap in the breeze. Yes my right one gets chewed up, but it happens more on geared than fixed, the front derailur is more frequently the culprit than the chain ring. Sometimes I chop em off mid calf length to make a quick and dirty pair of manpris. Those I roll up into shorts symmetrically when i get hot.
|
Argyle socks, the higher (and uglier) the better.
Both pant legs rolled up (3x). That's me for over a decade now. - eyefloater |
Never rolled them up, that big bunched-up bit of cloth bothers me more then the occasional greasy pant leg.

Winter time it's Uncle L. I don't dig the dutch boy look.
|
I roll em both. I've found that my left cuff hits the chainring sometimes through the frame if i don't roll that one too. So its precautionary. I don't know what my chances are of getting the left leg caught, but I don't want to find out what happens.

Thus far there are two Audrey Hepburns for every LL Cool J on this board.
Make of that what you will. |
Neither - cutoffs or the silly reflective band.
|
oh jesus.
first of all, why? second of all, you mean KATHERINE HEPBURN, not AUDREY HEPBURN, you culture-lacking maniac! http://mensual.prensa.com/mensual/co...sta/412140.jpg NOT http://www.divasthesite.com/images/A...burn_dress.JPG Don't mess with me when it comes to the Hepburns... I love Audrey. |
FYI, It's Katherine who was famous for wearing pants. I now see you have a picture of Audrey up there on the bike- sorry for jumping the gun. I'm a chump.
BUT, Kathrine was famous the pants. And I love Audrey. |
teadogg, your weekend of front wheel assisted onanism has, as mother warned you, made you go blind.
i repeat, audrey hepburn http://www.thefairestlady.com/audrey...ies/aud280.jpg |
edit: i see your edit. audrey was famous for capris dude. it's her signature look.
|
i retract my original statement - you're not a culture-lacking manic, eddie. You're a refined, civilized gentleman who know's a classy lady. =)
but for the record, Katherine was the pants wearer, mostly. |
audrey kicks katherine's ass any day. But they are both still great ladies... I wish more of old hollywood style survived. Now we have Jessica simpson with daisy dukes... so how many rock that option?
|
either both sides rolled up with soccer socks in the winter or one of the many pair of shants that i own. Every time i go to goodwill I'm always on the hunt for a pair of pants i can hack the bottoms off. There's just something rewarding about buying a pair of pants just to cut em up. cheers.
|
eddie - Touché.
we're both right In the battle, I fear. let's unite! |
