Ummmm... I don't think it would be a good idea to mention this conversation when she's around.

Shameless. Completely shameless.

I don't mind, cheap, shady hotels, if you're already making reservations.

Curious, what meanst thou by "some good houses"? With people you know in 'em?

Alright I have my last exam this afternoon so I can start working on this again... What do you guys say to making this an annual/semiannual event?

I just found out some pretty important information though. Appearently because of the hurricane the lighting system has been knocked out and they haven't replaced the bulbs so the track closes at 5pm. I wasn't planning on making this much later than that anyway but it still kind of sucks. I hope they have things fixed by the event that way if some people want to, we could go out and ride the track at night. That just seems like it would be cool to me. exams SUCK!

but you're almost finished!

I turned in my last deliverable of the semester yesterday, then worked on freelance stuff until midnight, went to gmcaptain's graduation party until 3, and woke up at 7 for a freelance client meeting. It never quite ends?

Regular event? Yea, awesome, but lets try to get through the first one without any casualties first.

Oh, I thought I posted to this? Huh.

Given we'll have a total of two evenings in town, and even best case one of those at the track, I don't think it'd be a problem to have just the more randomish stuff that night. That might be a good time for me to learn how to, yknow, trackstand n'stuff. For example. And of course this just applies to us outtatown folks.

does anyone know if you can ride with bullhorns on the track? i usually ride with risers and the only other bars i have are bullhorns and some old 3T road bars that are kinda trackish for road bars which might work ok but i'd rather not use them.

Looks like touring is waaaay out for me at this point. Can't really afford to spend the three days poopin around. Eh.

But if yr friend is still interested in going she's quite welcome to the routes and such. It would be a quite reasonable route to take, assuming she'd be able to depart from Brandon pretty early whatever day. First night would be at a state park, so one could likely spring for lodging there, and I gather there'd be something around Okeechobee. Meaning, one wouldn't have to do this fully loaded or anything.

me and my two friends went to go ride the velo today. Ended up not being able to unfortunately. Looks really nice though, seems like no one uses it. When asking about renting a bike, it seemed like there was no deposit, just $5 period.
