10,000 miles in 2005

Hey y'all I just did the math and I'm over 10,000 miles fixed this year! I guess the warrantee on my knees is expired now... Most of the mileage is from my commute, around 18 miles each way, and I'm not counting trips around the neighborhood on my beater.

It's been a good year... I finally learned to bunnyhop fixed, finally found a really waterproof bag (carradice barley) and the right shoes (sidi MTB). And I lost 15 lbs. which is cool too. Anyway I figured you guys would understand... Take it sleazy...

Congrats. I'm at a measly 2500mi, (500-1000 of that was fixed). I'm pretty darn happy I haven't lost 15 pounds though... my BMI would be down to a pathological 16 from the current -still "abnormal"- 18:D

congrats dude, that's a whole bunch of miles!

and make sure you don't get unclipped hopping your bike down the road like I did. Comin unclipped while in the air = 1 foot planted skidding on the ground elbow first into a parked towncar and takin out his mirror, but only after almost getting bucked hard.

you're a hero!

damn...good **** money...
do you feel that your knees are taking a toll because of all those miles?

mine seem to be only getting stronger at this point (or at least the muscles surrounding them), but...I don't ride nearly as much as you

my left knee is always tight... I do yoga, it feels better.. but I sort of always think about it
